The DBIA Southwest Region is now accepting nominations for 2026–2027 Board of Directors and leadership positions. Members are invited to nominate themselves or a fellow DBIA member for roles that help guide the Region’s strategy, support chapter growth, and advance Design-Build Done Right® across the Southwest. This page outlines open positions, expectations for service, key dates, and how to submit a nomination.

These roles are an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding strategy, supporting chapters, advocating for design-build, and strengthening our professional community.

Please submit by February 27!

Leadership Opportunities Overview

DBIA-SW is seeking nominations for two types of leadership roles:

1. Board of Directors Roles

(Voting leadership positions with governance responsibilities)

These roles serve on the DBIA-SW Board of Directors and help guide the strategic direction, financial stewardship, and overall success of the Region.

2. Committee & Chapter Vice Chair Roles

(Non-board leadership positions)

These roles do not serve on the Board of Directors. They support committee and chapter leadership, gain hands-on experience, and are often a pathway to future board service.

👉 Important: Board roles and Vice Chair roles use different nomination forms (see below).
