DBIA-SW is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2026 Regional Conference. We are seeking sessions that educate, inspire, and equip attendees with actionable insights that reinforce Design-Build Done Right®.

Event Cancellation Policy – If you need to cancel your registration on or before April 7th, we will refund your registration fee, minus a 10% processing fee. After April 7th, we cannot issue any refunds, as we will have already made financial commitments based on our expected attendance numbers.

This premier resort offers on-site golf, luxury accommodations, and modern meeting spaces—all in the heart of Frisco’s vibrant corridor.


  • Transportation & Parking: Complimentary self-parking is available. Valet parking is offered for a fee.

  • Air Travel: Convenient access from DFW International Airport (~19 miles) and Dallas Love Field (~16 miles).




What are the parking and transportation options?

Driving: 

The Westin Dallas Stonebriar is located just north of the Sam Rayburn Tollway.

  • Complimentary self-parking is available on-site.

  • Valet service is offered for $15 during the day (until 10:30 PM) and $25 overnight.


Flying:

  • Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) – approximately 19 miles away

  • Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) – approximately 16 miles away

  • Transportation from either airport includes taxis, ride-share services, or rental cars.


Public Transit:

The DART “Headquarters @ Dallas N Tollway - W - MB”  and "Headquarters @ Dallas N Tollway - E - MB" stops are about 1.3 miles southeast of the hotel. Check the DART website for route details and real-time schedules.

How do I book a hotel room?

Will I earn continuing education credits?

Yes! Attendees can earn DBIA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for all conference sessions, keynotes, and tours. Credit hours will be announced closer to the event.


What are the Golf Tournament details?

Date: May 7, 2026

Golf Registration: Opens at 12:00 PM

Shotgun Start: 1:00 PM

Awards & Reception: 6:00 PM


Included:

  • Green fees and golf cart

  • Boxed lunch and drink tickets

  • Entry to the evening awards reception.

Is there a dress code for the Golf Tournament?

Yes. Proper golf attire is required for all players.

  • Collared shirts, golf slacks, or walking shorts are required.

  • Ladies’ shirts must have sleeves or a collar.

  • Denim, athletic wear, tank tops, and swimsuits are not permitted.All caps must be worn facing forward.

Can I rent golf clubs?

Yes. Club rentals are available for $90 per set, but must be reserved by April 17, 2026.


Email lane@dbia-sw.org with your gender and handedness to reserve. After that date, rental availability is not guaranteed.

What meals are included in the conference?

Your conference registration includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day on May 8, plus access to the Opening Reception on May 7.


Golfers also receive a boxed lunch during tournament registration.
