Meet Our New Director of Chapter Operations & Member Engagement, Allea Tigert!

We’re excited to welcome Allea Tigert to the DBIA Southwest Region team as the new Director of Chapter Operations & Member Engagement! With a strong background in communications, events, and member engagement, Allea brings creativity, connection, and operational excellence to our chapters. In her role she will support regional programming, streamline coordination, and enhance the overall member experience.
Allea’s experience spans corporate, nonprofit, education, and media which gives her a well rounded perspective in how to build community through meaningful programming. She was also a collegiate basketball player and later served as a Graduate Assistant Coach while completing her MBA which shaped her collaborative leadership style and her passion for developing people.
Allea lives in Houston with her husband Jarred, their daughter Landrea, son Lawson, and their dog and cat. She enjoys working out, thrifting and estate sales, sporting events, time outdoors, traveling, and making memories with her family.
