Michelle Noriega, AIA, LEED AP, CEM

Capital Delivery Services Project Management Supervisor

City of Austin

Michelle Noriega is a registered architect in the State of Texas. Having first joined the City of Austin in 2005 within the Austin Energy conservation programs after working with local architecture firms beginning in the 1990’s, she has maintained a focus on sustainability and municipal project management not only in Austin, but throughout Southern California and the Rio Grande Valley regions. Currently, she is a proud public servant within the City of Austin Capital Delivery Services Department (formerly Public Works) as a Project Management Supervisor.


In addition to her role with the City of Austin Five New Fire & EMS Stations projects with JE DUNN, Michelle on project delivery with various City departments including Austin Police Department, Transportation, Austin, Cultural, and Music Entertainment (ACME) Department, Austin Parks and Recreation, Department of Aviation (AUS), and the Austin Convention Center Expansion project, currently in construction.


Michelle earned her Bachelor of Environment Design from Texas A&M University – College Station, a member of AIA, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Energy Manager having served as past-president to the Austin-San Antonio Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers. She volunteers for Austin Meals on Wheels and lives with her husband and mini farm in Kempner, TX.
