Erik Logan
Vice President & Business Group Leader
The Walsh Group (Innovation Next+)
With over 30 years of experience in aviation construction, Erik Logan serves as Vice President and Director of National Aviation at The Walsh Group, where he leads some of the nation’s most complex airport modernization and expansion programs. A recognized expert in modular and prefabricated construction, Erik has been instrumental in delivering innovative, large-scale projects at major airports including DFW, LaGuardia, and LAX.
Erik is currently leading the DFW Terminal F Concourse and Skylink Station project – the largest terminal modular construction effort ever undertaken in the United States. The program recently reached a major milestone with the successful transport and placement of six massive prefabricated modules for the first phase of the Terminal F expansion. The operation, completed just nine months after groundbreaking, showcased the speed and precision of modular delivery at an unprecedented scale. Over 12 days, modules measuring up to 278 feet long, 136 feet wide, and weighing 3,320 tons, were carefully moved more than half a mile down an active taxiway using Mammoet Self-Propelled Modular Transporters. The highly choreographed process demonstrated engineering excellence, logistical precision, and the power of collaboration under Erik’s leadership as part of the Innovation Next+ design-build team.
Throughout his career, Erik has specialized in preconstruction strategy, phasing and logistics planning, design-to-budget execution, and stakeholder collaboration, consistently advancing modular methods that enhance constructability, minimize passenger disruption, and accelerate project delivery. Passionate about innovation in aviation infrastructure, Erik continues to champion solutions that redefine how airports are designed and built.
