DBIA's National Student Competition
Spring break is around the corner and summer recess will be here before you know it! Before they get here, be sure to check signing up for DBIA's National Design-Build Student Competition off your to do list!
Every year, this competition places students in front of industry leaders to showcase their collaborative design and construction skills and creativity to set them apart as future design-build leaders. This year’s three-phase competition guarantees a real-world view of Design-Build Done Right® with a first-of-a-kind (for this competition) building type, location and site condition, as well as a new interview process for the final teams.
Teams from colleges and universities throughout the nation will respond to a Request for Qualifications (Phase 1) and a Request for Proposals (Phase 2). In Phase 3, the top three teams will then compete for the national title at DBIA's 2026 Design-Build Conference & Expo, Nov. 4-6, in Cleveland, Ohio.
