Project Description:

Design-build, $12.1 million. This renovation and expansion project serves the City’s north service area, ensuring high-quality effluent through 2025 while increasing treatment capacity from 10 MGD to 14 MGD to support continued community growth. High-efficiency turbo blowers were implemented to reduce energy consumption, and a biological odor control system (bio scrubber) was installed to manage odors without the use of carbon or chemicals.

This project marked the first municipal design-build wastewater facility in Texas.
