The Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) is shaping the next generation of design-build professionals through its annual Design Build Competitions®—hands-on, team-based experiences where students tackle real-world challenges with real-world constraints.
This spring, CIEF is hosting three Texas Design Build Competitions®, including an exciting new Central Texas event. The DBIA Southwest Region is proud to support these efforts and help rally the industry to step up as sponsors, judges, and volunteers.
Spring 2026 Texas Competitions
CIEF is hosting competitions in Houston, DFW, and Central Texas, with strong student interest and momentum across all three locations.
Where Help Is Needed Right Now
Team Sponsors – A few team sponsorships remain for DFW and Central Texas, along with general sponsorship opportunities.
Judges & Volunteers – Industry professionals are needed at all locations to judge presentations, mentor students, and support event logistics.
