Special Nominations Open. Help Shape the Future of DBIA Southwest.

The DBIA Southwest Region is seeking three exceptional leaders to fill interim roles that will strengthen our organization and advance the design-build mission across the Southwest. Whether you know the perfect candidate or you're considering stepping up yourself—we want to hear from you.

The Opportunities

1

Owners' Council Chair

Lead owner-focused initiatives and represent the voice of public and private industry owners on the Regional Board. This is your chance to champion owner perspectives and build relationships that strengthen project delivery across the Southwest.

2

New Mexico Chapter Chair

Develop and oversee DBIA activities in the New Mexico Chapter—from networking events to educational programming. Shape the chapter's identity and help grow design-build adoption throughout New Mexico.

3

Legislative Committee Chair

Lead advocacy and legislative initiatives on behalf of the Region. Partner with industry leaders and government officials to promote design-build as a delivery method and protect industry interests across five states.

Why This Matters

These interim roles offer a unique opportunity to lead DBIA Southwest during a pivotal moment. The appointed leaders will have full voting authority on the Regional Board, a direct voice in strategic decisions, and the support of an engaged Executive Council and membership.

Who Should Nominate?

You can nominate anyone who meets these criteria:
  • Member in good standing with DBIA and DBIA Southwest Region

  • Demonstrated commitment to design-build and the Region's mission

  • Available to serve through April 2027

That could be a peer you've worked with on dozens of projects. A rising star from your chapter. Even yourself, if you're ready to lead.
