The DBIA-SW San Antonio Chapter Invites you to a Tour of the SARA Salitrillo WWTP.

Join DBIA-SW San Antonio Chapter Chair President Aron Soto for a tour of the SARA Salitrillo WWTP. San Antonio River Authority has partnered with Freese and Nichols and MGC Contractors to complete the Salitrillo WWTP Progressive Design Build Expansion Project. Design phase began October 2020, construction started December 2021, with an anticipated final completion of November 2023.

Participants will have the opportunity to tour the facility with members of our team as they showcase some of the unique components of the facility and discuss the advantages of a design-build project. You will receive a crash course in the general concept and approach of design-build projects and how they can encourage collaboration among the project team, help overcome potential challenges, provide various cost savings, and effectively accelerate the project schedule.
