Thomas Cross, PE, DBIA

Freese and Nichols, Inc.

Tom Cross is an Associate and Group Manager with Freese and Nichols in Tampa, Florida. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and Florida and a DBIA credential holder. He has worked on over 50 utility projects with an approximate total pipe length of 125 miles and an approximate total pumping capacity of 140 million gallons per day annual average daily flow. He has worked at over 40 water and wastewater treatment plants ranging in capacity from 300,000 gallons per day to 96 MGD. He has delivered projects using both collaborative delivery and design-bid-build for new construction as well as rehabilitation and expansion. He is an adjunct instructor at the University of South Florida where he co-teaches the Capstone Water Resources/Environmental Design course. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Mississippi.
