Markos E. Mengesha currently serves in the capacity of Assistant Director for the Facility Delivery Line in Capital Projects, and leads a workforce of over 50 engineers and project managers responsible for delivering water and wastewater Capital Improvements Plan including Wastewater Consent Decree Early Action and Capacity Remedial Management Plan Projects. His team annually awards about $30M of design contracts and $350M of construction contracts for water and wastewater CIP projects.
Markos graduated from Wayne State University with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
Markos is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, a Certified Construction Manager by Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and an Envision Sustainability Professional by Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI).
