The DBIA-SW 2023 Regional Conference will be jam-packed with opportunities to learn. But we know a major part of why you attend the conference is to network and socialize. That's why on April 20th, after the Opening Plenary Lunch, we have scheduled some time for you to unwind, learn some new things, and socialize.
Tour the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Silverline Project
Approved for 2.5 Hours of DBIA CEUs
If you are interested in major transportation projects, you can join DART's Executive Vice President and AWH's Senior Project Manager on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Silver Line, DART's 26-mile commuter rail corridor currently under construction. Learn about the challenges faced during the past three years, including third-party delays, the pandemic, and cost escalations, and discover how the agency and design-builder resolved these challenges to advance the new revenue service date to late 2025/early 2026. This tour is limited to the first 30 registrants & attendees must be registered with the conference.
Approved for 2.5 hours of DBIA Continuing Education Credits.
Try Indoor Skydiving and Attend a Mixer at iFly Dallas
Have you always wanted to try indoor skydiving? If so, you're in luck! The young and young at heart are invited to a mixer at iFly Dallas. This is an incredible opportunity to experience the thrill of skydiving without jumping out of a plane. You will be able to fly in a safe and controlled environment and meet other conference attendees. The mixer is a perfect way to socialize and connect with people who share the same interests as you.
