


Mark Simon, PE, CCM

As the Assistant Deputy of Engineering, Mr. Simon oversees delivery of all aspects of NTMWD engineering and construction CIP projects and Real Estate Acquisition.
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
Mr. Simon joined NTMWD in 2020 bringing with him more than 22 years of experience working on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs in the US and overseas, mostly focused on the water and wastewater industry. Mr. Simon has worked as a consultant and also has more than 10 years’ experience working as a project and program manager for a large municipal water utility. Mark has performed all roles of project delivery having been a design engineer, project manager and construction manager. Mr. Simon has a proven record of working with diverse teams to develop and meet achievable goals while maintaining flexibility for changing priorities.
Mr. Simon is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and a licensed Professional Engineer (Texas PE). He was awarded the 2016 CMAA National Owner of the Year and 2016 CMAA North Texas Chapter CCM of the Year.
