This event will feature expert speakers from the program sharing their experiences on successful project delivery through alternative methods. The program's history, goals, milestones, and future opportunities will be discussed, and attendees will learn about the program's successes, challenges, and lessons learned. The speakers will provide insights on project risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project financing for managing complex transportation projects.

Attendees will:

  1. Acquire an understanding of the various types of alternative delivery methods utilized by TxDOT's Alternative Delivery Program.

  2. Explore the program's successes, benefits, and enhancements, and application of best practices for managing complex transportation projects to their own work.

  3. Understand the program's risk management strategies and identify ways to apply similar strategies to their own projects to mitigate risks and increase success rates.

  4. Develop an understanding of stakeholder engagement practices and evaluate their importance in achieving successful project delivery, and be able to apply these practices to their own projects.
