The DBIA-SW Executive Committee met in early March to discuss nominations for the DBIA-SW Board of Directors in 2023. The following is their proposed slate.
The DBIA Southwest Region is governed by the DBIA Board of Directors. DBIA-SW Board Members and Officers serve two-year terms from April to April, and candidates for Officers are nominated by the Executive Council.
The Annual Meeting of the Region, which will be considered the Opening Plenary Lunch at the 2023 DBIA-SW Regional Conference, will be used to elect officers from among the eligible, nominated candidates. The election will be decided by a majority of the Region's members in good standing who are present at the meeting and vote.
To be nominated, elected, or serve as a Regional Officer, Board Member, Committee Chairperson, or Chapter Chairperson, an individual must be a DBIA and Region member in good standing.
