ABOUT DBIA-SW

The Design Build Institute of America Southwest Region includes businesses and professionals from Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The association plans an annual conference, a golf tournament, and educational courses and sessions for design-build professionals and owners.

Collaboration among all project team members is more important than ever in today's competitive environment. DBIA offers unique networking opportunities with peers - both Owners and practitioners - allowing design-builders to make connections that power career and business opportunities, expand professional reach, and create long-term impact. This is accomplished on a regional level as well as within our chapters.

Our members may have joined DBIA to gain access to the best design-build education and professional certification available in the country, which inspires both projects and futures. However, the majority of them renew their dues year after year because they have seen the power of working with like-minded people. We ensure success for members across disciplines by promoting the value of design-build project delivery and teaching the effective integration of design and construction services.

Most industry associations represent the interests of a single profession. DBIA is unique. We represent everyone with an interest in the future of our industry, so whether you're a designer, a construction professional, a project owner, or a company with dozens of employees, you're welcome to join us. We also invite students and teachers to participate in shaping the design-build industry for the next 50 years.

EVENTS

Throughout the year, DBIA-SW hosts a variety of events. The annual conference is typically held in the spring, followed by an annual golf tournament in the early fall, and chapter meetings are held throughout the year in various locations. Click on the link below to see our upcoming events.
