David Bloxom, DBIA LEED
David is President of Speed Fab-Crete Corporation, a full-service design-build general contractor firm based in Fort Worth, Texas. The 56-year-old firm is the oldest, continuing structural precast concrete products firm in Texas. David holds a BS degree from Abilene Christian University and a Masters from the University of Chicago. He is also a DBIA designated professional. Contact David Bloxom.

David J. Bowlin, DBIA
David Bowlin serves as Chief Operations Officer with Broaddus & Associates and brings over 25 years of diverse experience from the perspective of both the Owner and Design/Builder. David holds a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Masters Degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Stanford University. Broaddus & Associates provides Master Planning, Programming, and Project Management services, is currently managing projects exceeding $2.5 Billion in value, and was ranked in the USA's Top 40 Program Managers by Engineering News Record. Randy N. Nance, DBIA
Randy Nance serves as a Pre-Construction Manager for Flintco, Inc. He has a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University and over 22 years experience in the construction industry. Flintco, Inc. is part of The Flintco Companies and is the largest American Indian owned construction company in the world with annual revenues of close to a billion dollars and more than 800 employees nationwide. Thomas Statzula, DBIA

Benjamin E. Martin, DBIA AC
Benjamin E. Martin has over 10 years of professional experience in the construction industry and holds a B.S. in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. This experience includes field management, preconstruction and project management in hospitality, retail, office and government projects. Randy Landers, DBIA
Randy Landers, DBIA is Sr. Project Manager for MJM Architects and manages MJM’s DFW office in Arlington. MJM is a Nashville, TN based firm with a nationwide practice. MJM’s primary project focus is in the retail, commercial, office and institutional markets. John Thompson, DBIA JD
John Thompson is responsible for the day-to-day operations and business activities of the Oklahoma City Area office for Manhattan. Manhattan Construction Company is the 41st largest construction contractor in the United States providing a full range of delivery methods focusing on design-build and construction management. Thompson received his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa, and a Masters of Law from George Washington University. John P. Shanks III, DBIA
John Shanks is the first and current Chapter President of the North Texas DBIA Chapter. He is on the development team for ING Clarion a global commercial Real Estate Owner and Developer. After graduating in the School of Architecture at Texas A&M with a degree in Building Construction, he worked in each of the major components of the AE/C industry. During John's 30 plus years of experience in the industry he has been an Owner / Developer, Architect, General Contractor, Subcontractor, Supplier, Manufacturer and construction software provider. His understanding of what everyone brings to the table on a construction project helps as he sources pertinent speakers for local chapter meetings in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. Susan Lipka
Susan Lipka is the Associate Vice President for Capital Planning & Management Services at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. M. D. Anderson also was recognized as the 2007 recipient of the U.S. News and World Report's top hospital for cancer treatment in the nation, an honor which the cancer center has received five times within the past 8 years. Lipka is responsible for $3 billion in new construction and renovation projects for the institution. She is in charge of providing facilities planning, design services, space guidelines, interior standards, real estate services, construction management services, and wayfinding standards to M. D. Anderson's vast main campus located in the Texas Medical Center and at additional sites throughout the state.
Lipka is a 30-year veteran in the development of major clinical and research facilities. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University. She is considered an expert in the construction and design of world-class facilities. Contact Susan Lipka.

Homer Guy, AIA, PE, DBIA
Homer Guy has more than 35 years of worldwide architectural and engineering design, design-build, construction, and public works experience. He holds an Architecture Bachelors from Iowa State University and a Masters of Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a registered architect and professional engineer (civil). He is an active member of AIA, ASTM, AGC and a Fellow in the Society of American Military Engineers as well as a member of the DBIA Water/Wastewater Conference Planning Committee and secretary of the DBIA's Sustainability committee. He completed military service as an Air Force civil engineering colonel and is the author of numerous design-build, sustainability, and small business publications and presentations.
