DBIA’s 2017 student competition closely mirrors best practices in design-build project delivery. The two-phase competition involves the collaboration of students from diverse backgrounds, including architecture and construction management, responding to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a student health and wellness facility on a liberal arts college campus in the Northwestern United States. Finalists will then respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the top three short-listed teams will present in person at DBIA’s annual conference in Philadelphia.
Team registration is now open until September 6, 2017. Registration and competition information is available here.
